About Akiperago

Shade numbered islands on six coastal charts. Islands joined at corners form archipelagos, and each archipelago needs one island of every size from 1 to its island count.

Each chart has one solution. Water marks are optional, and Undo reverses a whole painted stroke.

How to play

Goal
Shade islands that obey the number clues and join at corners into archipelagos with one island of each size from 1 to its island count.
How it ends
The chart finishes when its shaded islands obey every clue and archipelago rule; marks can be corrected, so there is no loss.
Record
The clock starts when a chart opens; only a fresh, saved first finish can set its best time, while resumed attempts and replays stay local.
  1. Edge-connected land cells form an island. A number gives the area of the island containing it; numbered cells stay land.
  2. Islands touching at corners belong to the same archipelago, including through a chain of corner contacts.
  3. Every archipelago has at least two islands. It needs exactly one island of each size from 1 to the number of islands in that archipelago: two islands need sizes 1 and 2; three need 1, 2 and 3.
  4. An island can have no number or several equal numbers. Different archipelagos satisfy their size rules separately.
  5. Choose Land, Water or Erase, then tap or paint cells. Water marks are optional: unmarked cells count as water when checking completion. The chart finishes automatically when every island and archipelago rule agrees.

Tips

  • Count islands, then sizes An archipelago of three islands needs areas 1, 2 and 3. Two islands of the same size cannot share an archipelago.
  • Keep edges and corners separate Land joined along an edge is one island. Corner contact joins separate islands into an archipelago.

Good to know

Progress and Undo history save on this device when browser storage is available. Only a fresh, saved first finish can set a named best time. Resumed attempts, confirmed restarts and unsaved attempts stay local. Replays cannot improve the first time; verification can retry the original first finish. Sound settings are shared with the site.
