How to play
- Goal
- Shade one connected wall so every clue matches the pale runs around its eight neighbouring positions and no 2×2 patch is wholly dark.
- How it ends
- A chart opens as soon as its dark wall satisfies every rule; there is no loss state and pale planning marks are optional.
- Record
- The time of the first unaided solve of each fixed chart is kept locally and may rank publicly.
- Tap an empty square to toggle dark ink. Rune squares stay pale. The numbers on a rune give the lengths of pale runs around its neighbouring ring, in any order. Dark squares separate runs. At an edge the ring stops; another rune is unavailable and does not act as a dark separator.
- The worked picture starts with six pale neighbours together around a 1 · 4 rune. Shading the highlighted lower-right neighbour splits that stretch into separate runs of one and four, while keeping the dark wall joined.
- All dark squares must join edge to edge in one wall. No 2×2 patch may be wholly dark. Pale planning marks are optional. Undo restores a mark, and Restart clears marks without resetting the first clock. A reload keeps an unfinished chart local only; replays are untimed practice. Public records accept first-solve times up to 24 hours.

Every chart has one independently verified answer; a separate bounded deduction trace finishes all 160 without guessing. Removing any one of the connected-wall, no-solid-2×2 or pale-run rules makes each chart ambiguous. Private witnesses stay outside the build. Saves use morass.pata.v1; sound follows the shared arcade setting. No ads or analytics run inside the game.
