About Mintonette
Join circles with paths that fill the grid. A number counts the right-angle turns on its whole path, so each connection must fit both the open space and its endpoints.
Choose from 600 original charts in three sizes. Draw a route in one stroke or select its cells, leave optional crosses, and revise whole routes with Undo.
How to play
- Goal
- Connect every circle to one other circle with separate paths that fill every open cell.
- How it ends
- A chart is won when paths cover the grid without crossing, branching or looping, and every numbered circle has exactly its stated number of turns on its path; mistakes can be undone.
- Record
- Your fastest first unassisted solve of each chart is kept; later solves are untimed practice.
- Connect each circle to exactly one other circle using horizontal and vertical paths between cell centres.
- Every cell belongs to one path. Paths cannot cross, branch, loop, share cells or pass through another circle.
- A numbered circle gives the exact number of ninety-degree bends along its entire path. Two numbered ends must have the same number.
- A zero needs a straight path. Blank circles have no turn restriction, including when both ends are blank.
- Choose Path, Cross or Erase, then drag or select two cells in the same row or column. Crosses are optional notes; they are not needed to finish.
Controls
| Input | Action |
|---|---|
| Mouse / touch | Drag a route or select its cells; choose Path, Cross or Erase |
| Right-click | Select endpoints to erase their link |
| Arrows; Space / Enter | Move the cursor; select a route cell |
| 1 / 2 / E; P | Select Path / Cross / Erase; select Pan |
| Z / Y; Backspace; R; Escape | Undo / Redo; Undo; Restart; cancel or return |

Tips
- Look for zero A zero can only connect along a straight line.
- Check both ends Two numbered circles can pair only when their numbers agree.
Good to know
Progress and history save in this browser. The first clock starts when a chart opens and continues through menus and Restart. Reloaded unfinished charts retain local progress and timing but cannot rank publicly. Later solves are untimed practice. Music, effects and reduced motion have separate settings.

Questions
Do blank circles require a turn?
No. A blank circle imposes no turn restriction.
Do crossings or crosses count as turns?
Only right-angle changes along the drawn path count. Crosses are optional notes on edges.
