How to play
- Goal
- Shade exactly two cells in every chamber, obey each carved gap and keep neighbouring chambers' gaps different while all pale cells connect.
- How it ends
- A chart is solved when every chamber, gap and pale passage rule holds; there is no loss state.
- Record
- The fastest first solve of each chart is kept as a public record, with its holder's name.
- Each brass-bordered chamber needs exactly two dark stones. Its carved number is their Manhattan distance minus one: touching stones read 0, and stones two grid steps apart read 1. A number stays pale; some charts also print fixed pale seals or dark stones.
- The worked picture begins with one stone and a carved 1. Pale seals rule out other places, so shade the top-right square for the second stone. Chambers sharing an edge must have different gaps even if a chamber has no number. Every pale square must connect to the others by edge steps.
- Tap a free square to cycle dark, pale note and clear. Pale notes are optional. Undo restores a mark; Restart clears marks without resetting the first clock. Returning through the atlas keeps an unfinished first-solve clock, while reloading makes that finish local only. Public records accept times up to 24 hours.

All 160 fixed charts have one independently verified answer, and a separate bounded candidate deduction trace. Removing either the adjacent-gap rule or the connected-pale rule makes every chart ambiguous. Private witnesses stay outside the build. Saves use morass.manekingeto.v1; sound follows the shared arcade setting. No ads or analytics run inside the game.

About Manekingeto
Lay dark lapis ward stones into irregular limestone courts around a moon gate. Brass walls divide the chambers; the pale floor must remain one connected passage.
Every one of the 160 original charts has a unique independently proved pattern. A separate candidate deduction trace completes each chart without recursive search.
Your first finish time stays in this browser. An uninterrupted first solve can claim the named public best for its chart.
