About Tontonbeya
Fill a roomed grid with circles, triangles and squares. Balance the symbol counts inside each room while joining every group to exactly one matching group across a room border.
Choose from 160 original puzzles on 4×4, 5×5 and 6×6 grids. Rooms may use one, two or three symbol kinds; matching partners can have different sizes and shapes.
How to play
- Goal
- Fill every cell with a circle, triangle or square so each room balances its symbols and every connected symbol group has exactly one matching partner in another room.
- How it ends
- You finish when all cells satisfy the room and pairing rules; mistakes can always be erased.
- Record
- Your fastest first-solve time is kept for each puzzle, and later solves are untimed practice.
- Choose Circle, Triangle or Square, then tap or drag over blank cells. Printed symbols stay fixed.
- Within each room, every symbol kind present must have the same count. A room may use just one kind.
- All copies of a symbol inside a room must connect horizontally or vertically into one group.
- Every group must touch the same symbol in exactly one other room across an edge. Several contacts with that same room count once; corners do not count.
- Partners may have different sizes and shapes. Fill every cell and satisfy every room and pairing rule to finish automatically.
- Choose Erase or tap an entry with its matching tool to clear it. Undo and Redo restore whole strokes.

Tips
- Connect inside the room Two diagonal copies need a side-connected path of their own symbol inside that room.
- Count the kinds you use A room with two kinds needs equal halves. A room with three kinds needs three equal counts.
- Check distinct partners A group can cross several edges into the same partner room. Touching that symbol in a second other room is forbidden.
Good to know
Progress saves in this browser. The first clock starts when you open a chart and continues through menus and Restart. Reloaded attempts and changed clocks stay local. Practice keeps your original finish. Music and Effects have separate switches. Shelves describe grid size, not difficulty.

Questions
Must every room use all three symbols?
No. A room may use one, two or three kinds, provided the kinds present have equal counts.
Must partner groups have the same size?
No. The matching symbol and the one-partner rule matter; their sizes and shapes may differ.
Does corner contact count?
No. Both connectivity and matching contacts use shared cell edges.
