How to play
- Goal
- Shade one connected canal. Match every lookout's straight water count, with no solid 2×2 water pool.
- How it ends
- A chart clears when its lookouts, connection and pool rule all agree; there is no loss.
- Record
- Only the fastest first solve of each chart is kept; replays are practice.
- Shade one edge-connected canal. Every numbered lookout stays dry and counts consecutive water cells from its four neighbouring directions, stopping at the first dry cell or edge. The lookout itself counts zero. A full 2×2 water pool is forbidden.
- The worked picture shows a dry 0 closing the 2 lookout’s right ray. Its only open ray points down, so both cells below the 2 must be water.
- Tap an empty cell to add water; tap it again to clear. The Dry tool or right click makes an optional dry note, which never has to be filled in. Tap a lookout to highlight the water it currently sees and read its count. Undo, Redo and Restart help you revise the canal; Restart keeps the first clock running. A chart clears as soon as its water is correct, with no loss. Replays are practice.

All four shelves are open from the start. A zero lookout rules out water beside it; larger clues trace straight runs. Dry notes are optional, and no answer key ships in the browser.

About Canal View
Restore the sunlit aqueduct across an Orenvalt valley. Brass lookouts count the water they can see in four straight directions, and the entire canal must stay connected.
Solve 160 original charts across four shelves. Independent exhaustive checks prove each chart has one answer; a bounded deduction trace finishes every one without guessing.
Your first solve time stays in this browser. An uninterrupted first finish may claim the named best beside the clock and on its chart card.
