About Undead

Place ghosts, vampires and zombies in a haunted mirror cabinet. Each edge clue counts the monsters visible along its reflected sightline, while three totals tell you how many of each creature belong in the maze.

Explore 96 original mazes across four sizes, from 3×3 to 5×5. Trace a view, compare crossing clues and leave notes until every monster has its place.

How to play

Goal
Place every monster so the edge clues and the three monster totals agree.
How it ends
You win when the whole maze is correct, and mistakes can always be changed.
Record
Your first unaided solve time is kept for each puzzle.
  1. Select any maze. Fill each empty square with a ghost, vampire or zombie; fixed diagonal mirrors cannot be moved. The three totals count monsters in distinct squares.
  2. Each edge clue counts a view that travels straight until a mirror bends it. Vampires are visible before the first mirror, ghosts after at least one mirror, and zombies throughout. Monsters never block the view.
  3. Every visible visit counts. If a reflected path crosses the same monster twice, count each visible visit. A second mirror keeps the view reflected; it does not restore direct vision.
  4. Tap an edge clue to trace its complete view. Notes are optional and do not count as monsters. Fill every square and match every clue and total to complete the maze.

Tips

  • Compare both views A vampire can satisfy a direct clue without increasing a reflected count; a ghost does the reverse.
  • Count visits, not squares Follow a looping sightline all the way to its exit. A zombie seen twice contributes twice.
  • Use the totals The edge clues count visits, but the monster totals count occupied squares. Combine both kinds of information.

Good to know

Progress and complete Undo history save in this browser. The clock continues through menus, pause and Restart. Reopening the page restores the maze as practice with its original clock. Replays preserve the first completion. A competing tab or failed save disables time submission. Music, Effects and reduced motion have separate settings.
