About Haisu

Draw a continuous route through a grid of rooms. Leaving a room and returning starts another visit; the clues tell you when to cross particular squares.

Explore 160 original puzzles: 32 small 4×4 charts, 64 at 5×5 and 64 at 6×6. Every chart has one complete route.

How to play

Goal
Draw one route from S to G through every square exactly once.
How it ends
The whole route matches every large visit number and every small room total.
Record
Your first unaided solve time is kept; later solves are practice.
  1. Join orthogonally adjacent square centres to draw one route from S to G. Use every square exactly once, without branches.
  2. Crossing a thick boundary starts a new visit to that room. S counts as visit one; moving within a room keeps the same visit number.
  3. A large number inside a square tells which visit must pass through it. That square need not be the first square entered on the visit.
  4. A small × number gives that room’s exact total visits. You may leave a room and return.
  5. Erase unwanted links, or use Mark for optional blocked-edge notes. Disconnected pencil segments are allowed while solving. The completed route must satisfy every clue.

Tips

  • Start at the ends S and G each need one route link. Every other square needs two.
  • Count boundary crossings Following several squares within one room still counts as one visit. Only returning after leaving advances it.

Good to know

Progress and Undo history save in this browser. The first clock starts when a chart opens and continues through menus and Restart. Reloaded attempts continue locally; later solves are practice. Check reports visible rule contradictions without revealing the answer.

Questions

Does a large 2 mean the second square?

No. It means the route must cross that square during its second visit to that room.

Can I leave a room and return?

Yes. Re-entry is central to Haisu. Match the visit clues and any small room total.
