How to play
- Goal
- Colour every square red, white or blue so every row, column and both long diagonals contain two of each colour, and all twelve line clues hold.
- How it ends
- A chart is complete when all counts and clues are satisfied. Entries stay editable until completion; Replay starts Practice. There is no loss.
- Record
- Your first unassisted solve of each chart keeps its time; replays are Practice.
- Every row, column and both long diagonals contain exactly two red, two white and two blue squares.
- Each row and column has one clue. Rows read left to right; columns read top to bottom. Use Clues to review all twelve and jump to a line.
- An ordering clue places both squares of one colour before both of another. An enclosure clue places both inner squares strictly between the enclosing pair.
- Nonadjacency forbids neighbouring squares of the named colour pair in either order. Distinct-neighbour and distinct-three clues apply to every consecutive pair or triple.
- Choose Red, White or Blue, then tap a square. Pencil toggles optional candidate letters; these notes do not count as coloured squares.

Tips for Red, White and Blue
- Read the complete clue Both specified squares must satisfy ordering and enclosure clues; considering only one is insufficient.
- Compare crossing lines Every square belongs to a row and column, and some also lie on a long diagonal. Use all their constraints together.
- Keep candidate notes Pencil records possibilities without filling a colour count. Undo and Redo let you revise them.
Questions about this game
Does between include either end?
No. Both inner-colour squares must lie strictly between the enclosing pair.
Do diagonals have comparison clues?
No. Both long diagonals require two of each colour; the twelve clues belong to rows and columns.
Are the shelves difficulty levels?
The four shelves each hold 24 original six-by-six charts. All remain open; their names do not promise a difficulty ranking.
Does Restart reset the clock?
No. It clears entries and retains the first clock. Undo can restore the cleared entries.
What happens when I replay?
Replay is untimed Practice and preserves your first finish. Reloaded unfinished attempts remain local while progress and Undo are retained.
All charts and worked diagrams are original. Progress and Undo save in this browser. The first clock starts when you select a chart, including its bounded opening wait. Reloaded first finishes and detected clock or browser-suspension discontinuities remain local. Unsafe or unavailable storage is reported in-game. This is an independent implementation of the classic Red, White and Blue puzzle rules.
