How to play
- Goal
- Fill every cell so each horizontal, vertical and diagonal run of three has exactly two matching symbols and one different symbol.
- How it ends
- A chart is solved when every cell is filled and every run obeys that rule; there is no loss state.
- Record
- The fastest first solve of each chart is kept as a public record, with its holder's name.
- Fill every cell with a moon circle, ward square or flame triangle. Each horizontal, vertical and diagonal run of three adjacent cells needs exactly two matching seals and one different. Three alike and three different are both forbidden; starred seals are fixed clues. The worked example shows two moons and a gap becoming two moons plus a square.
- Choose a seal and tap a cell to place it. Repeated taps cycle through all three seals and empty. Drag to paint the chosen seal across cells. Clear or right-click erases.
- Undo reverses a stroke. Restart clears your seals but keeps the clock running. A chart completes automatically when every cell is filled and every sightline agrees. There is no loss.

Every chart has a pinned identity, one independently proved answer, and both forbidden three-symbol patterns are necessary. Public first-solve times exclude resumed attempts. Progress and reduced motion save under morass.trilogy.v1; sound follows the shared site setting. No ads or analytics run inside the game.
About Trilogy
In the Triune Observatory, moon circles, ward squares and flame prisms settle into a pale stone star table. Every straight sightline of three needs a pair and one different seal.
Explore 180 original charts from 4×4 to 7×7. Each chart has one independently proved answer, and both forbidden patterns matter on every board.
The clock starts when a chart opens. Your first solve stays in this browser; an uninterrupted first solve can set the verified public best shown beside the clock and on the chart card.
