How to play
- Goal
- Fill the thermometers from their bulbs to match every row and column clue.
- How it ends
- A chart is complete when every clue matches and each tube has one unbroken fill; there is no loss.
- Record
- The fastest first solve of each chart is kept locally and on the public board.
- Fill each straight thermometer continuously from its round bulb, or leave it empty. Match the number of lit glass squares in every row and column. The worked example taps the middle segment: the bulb and middle fill together, giving its top row two lit squares, its bottom row none, and column counts one, one, zero.
- Tap any segment to set the tube's fill through that point. Tapping an earlier filled segment lowers it; tapping the current end drains that segment. A clue equal to the chart width fills its whole line, while zero leaves a line empty. A glowing dial confirms only its visible count; an overfilled one turns red.
- Undo restores the last adjustment. Restart empties the tubes while the first clock keeps running. The chart finishes automatically when every clue agrees; there is no loss. Replays are untimed practice and keep the original first time.

About Thermometers
The Moonlit Observatory holds a brass assay table of glass tubes, warm aether and numbered star dials.
Explore 160 original 5×5, 6×6 and 7×7 charts. Every square belongs to one straight tube, and every chart has one independently proved answer under the bulb-fill rule.
Your first completion time stays in this browser. An uninterrupted first solve can claim the verified public best shown beside the clock and on each chart card.
