About TriPeaks Solitaire

TriPeaks at a shrine-station lodge high in the Crown-Reaches, three snowy peaks in the window and three peaks of cards on the table. Twenty-eight cards, most of them face down; play any open card one rank above or below the waste card, any suit, and King and Ace touch. A run of cards in a row is the whole pleasure of it — and choosing which card to take when two will play is the whole skill.

There are 1,000 numbered deals in four ranges — Foothills, Ridges, High Passes and Summits — and a Day's Deal that is the same for everyone. The ranges are measured, not guessed: each deal was played 64 times by a careful player who cannot see the hidden cards, and the share it won decides the range. On a Summit, it never won once.

Every deal here is proved winnable: two separately written solvers found the same fewest draws for each one. When you are stuck, Watch the winning line plays that win on the real cards, so nobody has to take "winnable" on trust. Watching spends that deal's records in your browser.

Best time and fewest moves are public records per deal, with their holders' names; only your first win of a deal counts for time. The clock starts when the cards are dealt and never pauses. Undo takes back a play that turned nothing over and costs a move. No ads, no coins, no wild cards, no energy.

How to play

Goal
Clear all 28 cards from the three peaks by playing cards one rank above or below the waste card.
How it ends
A deal is won when the peaks are clear; when the stock is spent and no card plays, the deal is stuck — restart it or watch the line that wins it.
Record
The fastest first win of each deal, and its fewest moves.
