How to play
- Goal
- Send the rune along straight icy lanes until it comes to rest on the sanctuary.
- How it ends
- A chamber clears only when a slide stops on the sanctuary; gliding over it does not count. There is no loss, and Undo or Restart lets you try another route.
- Record
- Your first solve time and fewest slides are kept for each chamber, with verified best results and their holders.
- Choose a chamber and slide the rune with a swipe, arrow key, or direction button. It travels in a straight line to the last free square before a boulder or wall. The worked picture shows a rock braking a rightward slide exactly on the sigil.
- The sanctuary clears only when the rune stops there. Passing over the sigil does not count. The first chamber demonstrates this: sliding right crosses the goal but reaches the far wall, so use a different route and stone brakes to approach it.
- There is no loss. Undo returns to the previous stop and Restart begins the same chamber again; both make that attempt practice for records, and the first-open clock continues. Your first solve time is kept once, while a later clean replay may improve fewest slides.

Tips for Ice Slide
- Plan from the goal To stop on an inner square, look for a boulder immediately beyond it.
- Crossing is not landing If the rune passes the warm sigil, find another lane that stops there.
- Try another stop An unhelpful landing is reversible with Undo, then a different direction.
Every fixed map has a unique shortest direction route, checked by an independent verifier; longer legal clears still count. The records Worker replays every submitted direction against the map. Progress uses morass.ice-slide.v1. The first solve time can rank once per browser profile; later clean practice can improve slides. No ads or analytics run inside the game.

About Ice Slide
A golden wardstone glides through a frostglass sanctuary, past carved boulders and a warm sigil under the ice. Every slide carries it to the next wall or stone; there are no half-stops.
Choose any of 160 fixed original chambers, from short five-by-five routes to deeper eight-by-eight paths. All four shelves are open from the start, and every chamber has an independently checked route.
