How to play
- Goal
- Collect every gear and deliver the snowball to the brass catcher while keeping the cottages safe.
- How it ends
- Reaching the catcher with every gear clears the slope; striking a cottage, rock, or the mountain edge ends the launch, and you can adjust the route and retry.
- Record
- Your first-solve time is kept for each slope, with its holder name.
- Tap a brass arrow to turn it clockwise. It sets the snowball’s exit direction when the ball reaches it; between arrows, the ball travels straight.
- Collect every golden gear before entering the brass catcher. Rocks, cottages, the edge and looping routes stop a launch. Edit returns to planning without losing the setup.
- Snowdrifts add one mass, up to four. Wooden gates marked 2+ require at least two mass and consume one as they break. Each drift and gate is used once per launch.
- Matching letter badges link arrows: turning one rotates all with that letter, keeping their relative directions fixed. Use Previous/Next and Turn on compact screens, or tap an arrow directly.

Every slope has one exhaustively certified winning control arrangement. All six chapters are open. Your first-solve clock starts on opening a slope, continues through failed launches and menus, and seals when you press a successful Launch. The delivery animation adds no time. Restored unfinished slopes and unavailable coordination stay local; replays retain the original first time. Effects, Music and Reduced motion have separate controls. No ads or analytics inside the game.

About Clockwork Avalanche
Set a mountain’s clockwork in motion: turn brass deflectors, then launch a growing snowball through golden gears and into its catcher. A painted alpine village surrounds the snow-covered mechanism.
Snowdrifts build mass; timber gates consume it. Later slopes link arrows together, so every adjustment affects more than one turn. Failed launches leave their track and preserve your setup for another experiment.
Sixty open slopes progress from the Frostworks to the Midnight Summit. Granular powder, wooden splinters, warm brass sparks and a steam-powered catcher make each launch visible and audible.
