About Runebound Loop
Draw a single loop around numbered cells. Matching letter-and-shape runes bind distant edges: both carry a line or both remain empty.
Explore 120 original puzzles in four collections, from 4×4 grids with one rune pair to 6×6 grids with four pairs. Use local counts and matching runes to connect the whole loop.
How to play
- Goal
- Draw one loop that satisfies every number and every matching rune pair.
- How it ends
- A chart ends when your lines form that loop; there is no loss limit.
- Record
- Your fastest first-solve time is kept for each chart.
- Each number counts the lines around its cell. Blank cells impose no count.
- Draw one nonempty loop along the dot edges. Exactly two lines meet at each used dot; lines cannot branch or form separate loops.
- Edges with matching letter-and-shape runes must both carry a line or both stay empty. Different rune pairs are independent.
- On touch, select an edge and choose Line, Cross or Clear. Crosses are optional notes; only the lines determine completion.
- Undo and Redo revise an action. Restart clears the same chart while its original clock continues.
Controls
| Input | Action |
|---|---|
| Tap an edge; Line / Cross / Clear | Select an edge and apply a mark |
| Click; right-click | Cycle a mark; mark a cross |
| Arrows; Enter / Space; X; Delete | Move focus; cycle; cross; clear |
| Z / Y; R; Escape | Undo / Redo; Restart; close or return |
| Gamepad directions; A; X; LB / RB | Move focus; cycle; cross; Undo / Redo |
Tips
- Follow the pair A line or cross on one rune edge can help you decide its matching edge elsewhere.
- Keep one loop A small closed loop is wrong while required lines remain outside it.
Good to know
Progress and history save in this browser. The first clock starts when a chart opens and continues through menus and Restart. Reloaded unfinished charts keep local timing. Later solves are untimed practice. Music, effects and reduced motion have separate settings.

Questions
Must every edge be marked?
No. Crosses help you reason, but only drawn lines are needed to finish.
