How to play
- Goal
- Draw one non-crossing loop along the outlined room borders, leaving each room as many unused border segments as it has cells.
- How it ends
- The chart finishes when the single loop and every room count agree; marks can be changed, so there is no loss state.
- Record
- The fastest uninterrupted first solve of each chart is kept with its holder's name; replay is practice.
- Draw exactly one closed, non-crossing loop along the outlined room borders. Every used dot has two lines; dots may remain unused.
- For each room, leave as many perimeter segments unused as the room has cells. An area-five room must leave five unused segments.
- A shared border counts for both neighbouring rooms. Outer board borders count for their one adjoining room. Faint internal cell dividers are unavailable.
- Select a cell, choose its top, right, bottom or left border, then choose Line, Cross or Erase and press Draw. Selecting a cell, border or tool alone changes nothing.
- The header shows the selected room’s area and current unused count. Crosses are optional notes; only the line loop determines completion.
- Undo and Redo repair mistakes. Restart clears marks but keeps the first clock. Reload keeps marks and Undo, with the resumed solve staying local. Replay preserves the first finish.

Tips for Mejirinku
- Count unused borders Subtract lines from the room’s full perimeter, then compare the unused count with its area.
- Follow dots A used dot needs exactly two lines. Once two are drawn, all other borders there stay unused.
- Finish a room quota Once a room has all its required lines, its remaining borders stay unused.
- Test a possibility A temporary cross or line may force a contradiction. Undo or Restart clears that trial.

About Mejirinku
Draw a green loop around an ivory room map. Each room number counts its cells—and tells you how many perimeter segments must stay unused. The selected room’s live counter helps you read this unusual rule.
All 128 original charts are open: sixteen 4×4, fifty-six 5×5 and fifty-six 6×6. Each has one independently verified loop ending and a verified deduction path.
