How to play
- Goal
- Draw a single loop through every marked moon so each moon sits at the midpoint of a straight segment.
- How it ends
- A chart is won when the loop closes without crossing or branching and every midpoint is exact; there is no loss.
- Record
- Your first clear time is kept for each chart, and the fastest verified first clear appears beside it and on the page trophy.
- Join neighboring stars into one closed loop. The thread never crosses or branches. Each moon is crossed straight, and the first turn in either direction must be equally far away. A moon between stars marks that link itself.
- The worked picture uses real Chart 001: one moon sits on a vertical link near the left edge. Trace the link and one more on each side; the thread turns at equally distant stars above and below it. Tap two neighboring stars to join them, or drag across several. Tap a joined pair again, or drag across a drawn stroke, to lift its thread.
- A chart finishes automatically when its single loop satisfies every moon. An incomplete or illegal loop stays playable; Undo, Redo and Restart let you revise it. The first clock continues through return visits and Restart. Replays are untimed practice, and all charts are open from the start.

All 160 fixed charts have one independently verified answer and a separate no-guess deduction trace. The equal-distance rule is necessary on every chart. Saves use morass.mid-loop.v1; sound follows the shared arcade switches. No ads or analytics run inside the game.

About Mid-loop
At an Orenvalt observatory, trace one silver thread between stars and through each marked moon. Every moon must lie exactly halfway between the first turns on its straight run.
Choose from 160 original charts across three open shelves. Each has one independently verified answer and a separate deduction trace; the equal-distance rule matters on every chart.
Your first finish time stays in this browser. An uninterrupted first solve can claim the named best for that chart; later replays are practice.
