About Frostpush
The ice cellars under the Hearthstone inn are full of frost-imps. A gnome tinker goes down with nothing but his shoulder: face a block of ice along a corridor and shove, and it skids until something stops it, flattening every imp it carries.
Sixty cellars in six halls, each adding one thing: imps asleep in the ice, rune blocks that daze every imp when lined up, stone pillars and a wall you can shake, cracked ice, and quick hoarfrost imps. Every cellar keeps a top ten for score and one for speed.
How to play
- Goal
- Crush every frost-imp in the cellar, including the ones still sleeping in the ice.
- How it ends
- The cellar is cleared when no imp is left awake or asleep; the run is lost if an imp catches the gnome three times or the cellar's time runs out.
- Record
- For every cellar, the ten best scores and the ten fastest clears, each proved by replaying the run.
- Walk with the arrow keys, WASD, the pad or by dragging on the cellar. Stand next to a block of ice, face it and shove (Space, the Shove button, or a quick tap): it slides until it hits something, and any imp in its way is carried and crushed when it stops. A block with nothing to slide into breaks instead.
- Imps hunt you and chew through ice. A touch costs one of three lives. Break the blocks with sleeping imps inside before they wake, line up the three rune blocks to daze every imp, and shove into the cellar wall to daze the imps touching it; walk into a dazed imp to flatten it.
- The cellar is cleared when no imp is left awake or asleep. The clock counts down from the moment the cellar is dealt, and at two thirds of it the imps go into a frenzy.
