How to play

Goal
Seal every blight on the map: gather enough lore cards of a blight's colour and bring them to a shrine.
How it ends
You win the moment the last blight is sealed; you lose at the last outbreak, when a blight runs out of tokens, or when the lore deck runs dry.
Record
The best score on each map and on each day's map: seals, banished blights and a quick win score, outbreaks cost.
Worked visual example for Blight Wardens
Worked example. See the rule happen, then follow the numbered rules below.
  1. Tap a village to see it and the ways there: walking a road costs an action, riding there costs its lore card, a charter spends the card of the village you stand in to go anywhere, and the shrine path runs between shrines. The acting warden has four actions, then press End turn.
  2. Cleanse lifts a blight token where your warden stands. Raise a shrine with the card of the village you stand in. When both wardens share a village, pass them any card. At a shrine, four cards of one blight's colour seal it (three for Brother Quill).
  3. At End turn the warden draws two lore cards and the blight spreads to the omens, the villages with glowing rings. A fourth token of one blight (a third on a bog) boils a village over onto its road neighbours. The HUD counts the draws left before the next Surge; Undo takes back any action until End turn.

The villages, shrines, bridges, trees, blight tokens and the two warden miniatures (with their own idle, walking and gesture animations) are warehouse 3D models drawn with three.js; the music ('Muddlecombe Mischief', composed for the game), sounds and fonts come from the Morass warehouse. Every realm's decks are shuffled once from its seed, so a realm is the same game for everybody. A game is sent as the actions you took, and the records worker plays it again with the same rules before it keeps a place. About Blight Wardens

A solo board game in the spirit of Pandemic, played on a little 3D realm of Orenvalt. Rot, Rime, Cinder and Gloom creep from village to village (Lower Snoring, Muddlecombe, Much Squelch Parva), and your two wardens, chosen from a herbwife, a monk-scholar, an old mason, a pedlar and a hedge-troll, scurry between them on foot, by card and along the shrine paths, grumbling at each other as they go.

Each turn a warden takes four actions, then the blight spreads to the villages its omens point at. A village with three tokens of one blight that takes a fourth boils over onto every village its roads reach, and Surges hidden in the lore deck speed everything up. Gather four cards of a blight's colour, bring them to a shrine and seal it; seal every blight to win.

Fifty-six realms in eight regions, from gentle Apprentice meadows to the Archwarden Sundered Isles, each measured by playtesting bots before it shipped, and a new realm every day. Every realm keeps a Top 10 of the best scores: the site plays your game again before it counts it.
