About Four in a Row
Classic Four in a Row at an artisan's table: ember and frost discs fall into a dark-oak rack, with distinct flame and star marks so the two sides never depend on colour alone.
Choose Easy, Medium, Hard or Optimal. Each keeper has a visible style, from a one-look beginner to perfect outcome-preserving play backed by an exact solver and a verified opening book. Two players can also share the same screen.
The 120 always-open Trials are legal late-game positions with exactly one first move that preserves a forced win against perfect defence. They climb from win in two to win in seven, and every position is independently re-solved by the release build.
Each Trial keeps a named fastest-time top ten. Only the first solve counts for public time; casual wins, draws and losses stay on this device. No ads, coins, hints or energy.
How to play
- Drop a disc into any non-full column. It falls to the lowest open space.
- Make four of your discs in one line across, up or diagonally before the other side does.
- In a Trial, find the only opening that keeps the forced win, then finish it against perfect defence.
Controls

All 120 Trials are distinct legal positions with one winning first move and exact perfect-defence verification. The opening book, solver agreement tests, Trial bank, sounds and four target viewports are checked before every release. Results, current rack, sound and motion settings persist in this browser under morass.four-in-a-row.v1.
