How to play
- Goal
- Defeat every enemy in the skirmish.
- How it ends
- Clear all three waves to win; losing all health or running out of time ends the attempt.
- Record
- Fastest clear and highest combo score are kept separately for each skirmish.
- Steer toward an enemy and hold Fire to shoot straight ahead. Your phoenix turns gradually, so line up your attack before committing.
- Release Fire and steer away when hurt. Healing begins after three quarters of a second without firing. Teal motes show recovery; taking damage interrupts it. The picture shows attacking, then retreating to regain health.
- Clear all three waves to win. Violet warning rays show where enemy shots will travel; cross their path before they launch. Distant ruins and clouds are scenery.
- Consecutive defeats within three seconds build a multiplier up to five. Time and score are separate records. Opening panels or leaving the tab during play keeps the attempt local.

About Ashwing Skirmish
An ember phoenix battles shadow ravens above floating sanctuaries, verdant ruins, crystal storms and moonlit towers. Articulated wings, flowing tail feathers and fire motes bring the lightweight 3D skies to life.
Twenty-four finite skirmishes are open from the start. Three waves arrive in each battle. Later skies introduce artillery wisps and every sixth battle ends with a sentinel.
