How to play
- Goal
- Topple every goblin in the rival's keep before the rival topples every warden in yours.
- How it ends
- You win when the rival's last goblin falls; you lose when your last warden falls or your last load is spent.
- Record
- The fastest win and the fewest shots for each duel.
- You throw from the left, the goblin engineer throws back from the right. Topple every goblin in their keep before they topple every warden in yours.
- Drag back anywhere on the field and let go: the load flies the other way, harder the longer the pull. The dots show the first stretch of the flight in this shot's wind; your earlier paths stay drawn so you can correct. Or aim with ↑ ↓ and ← → and throw with Space.
- The wind changes every throw: the flag at the top and the pennant on the hill show it. Choose your next load from the chips (1–4): scatter stones split when you tap in flight, the iron ball is hard on stone, a fire pot bursts.
- You have ten loads. The clock runs while you aim, so a quick, sure hand wins the fastest times.

Built on Trebuchet's engine and art: the trebuchet is its Blender render, the warden and goblin heads and the loads were drawn for the games and the backdrops are warehouse paintings, all placed in the Morass warehouse; the sounds are warehouse recordings. A duel is sent as your throws alone, and the records worker plays the whole duel again, the rival's replies included, before it ranks the time. About Siege Duel
The artillery duel of Gorillas and Worms, fought with trebuchets on the border of the Wardenmarks. Your keep and trebuchet stand on the left, a goblin engineer's on the right, hills between, and a wind that changes with every throw. You throw, they throw back, and the first keep to lose all its defenders loses the duel.
The goblin aims like a person. It works out its shot from the wind and the field just as you can, but its first throws are rough and each one is closer than the last, so you can watch it walk its shots onto your keep and race it there. Eight rivals, one to a front, from Snikkit, who takes his time, to Warlord Ugrath, who does not.
The physics are Trebuchet's: every piece is a rigid body in an engine that uses only arithmetic every browser rounds the same way, so the same throws always bring the same duel, the goblin's replies included. There are 120 duels, each measured against a player of human pace and ordered from the easiest to the hardest, with timber, frost glass, stone and powder kegs, and four loads. Each duel keeps a Top 10 for the fastest win and one for the fewest shots, and the site replays the whole duel before it keeps a place.
