About Dawnstock

Build a little refuge in a block-built wilderness. Gather wood, stone and herbs during daylight, then choose where to put barricades, spikes and automatic turrets. When night falls, fight alongside your defenses and repair what you can.

Thirty-six camps span orchards, pine woods, quarries, marshes, ruins and snow. Every camp is open from the start. Each run gives you 45 seconds to prepare and 60 seconds to endure the night.

How to play

Goal
Keep yourself and the hearth alive until dawn.
How it ends
Dawn wins; losing all your health or the hearth loses the run.
Record
Your highest dawn score on each map is saved in this browser.
  1. Choose an environment and a camp. Keep both your own health and the hearth’s health above zero until dawn.
  2. Stand near a tree, rock or herb plant and hold Gather. Trees give wood, rocks give stone and plants give herbs. Each supply can run out.
  3. Choose a recipe, select nearby empty ground, then Build. Barricades absorb attacks, spikes hurt nearby foes and turrets shoot automatically. The recipe button shows the materials needed.
  4. Make potions from herbs and use Heal when you are hurt. Stand near damaged defenses or the hearth and use Repair; each repair consumes wood.
  5. When the blue night arrives, hold Strike near enemies and keep your defenses working. Strikes automatically target the nearest foe in reach; walls can block them. Pause stops the whole simulation. Dawn ends the run and awards points for remaining health and enemies defeated.

Tips

  • Prepare a route Gather nearby materials first and leave yourself room to reach the hearth.
  • Fight with the camp Turrets help, but your own strikes and repairs can keep a damaged camp alive.
  • Spend for survival Unused materials add no points. Healthy survivors and defeated enemies do.
