How to play

Goal
Shade each supplied shape exactly once, leaving one connected area of Pale ground.

Classify every cell Dark or Pale. All shapes, circle clues and ground rules must hold. Undo and Erase allow corrections.

Worked example. See the rule happen, then follow the numbered rules below.
  1. Each supplied shape picture is one statue. Its number counts cells. Use every supplied statue exactly once; rotation and reflection are allowed.
  2. Statues cannot overlap or share an edge. Corner contact is allowed.
  3. Every Pale cell must connect through its sides to every other Pale cell. Some Pale ground must remain.
  4. Black circles must be Dark and white circles must be Pale. A statue need not contain a circle. A square statue is legal when supplied.
  5. Choose Dark, Pale or Erase; tap or drag. A released stroke is one Undo. Describe selected reports the marked group at the focused cell; brushes keep painting normally.
  6. Escape, resize, pointer loss or a second finger withdraws an unfinished stroke. Restart retains the first clock. Reload retains marks and Undo on an unfinished first solve; its resumed finish stays local. Reopening practice starts fresh.

Tips for Statue Park

  • Count the inventory Each picture supplies one separate statue, even when two pictures have the same shape.
  • Leave a border Cells sharing an edge with a completed statue must be Pale.
  • Keep a path A cell that is the only remaining connection between Pale areas must be Pale.
  • Use the fixed circles A white circle blocks a statue position; a black circle must belong to a supplied statue.

Questions about this game

Does the number count copies?

No. It counts cells in that shape. Each picture supplies one copy.

Can I turn or flip a statue?

Yes. Rotation and reflection are allowed.

Can statues touch at corners?

Yes. They may touch at corners, but cannot share an edge.

Are filled Dark squares forbidden?

No. A square is legal if it is part of a supplied statue.

Does every statue need a black circle?

No. A statue may have no circle.

Can replay improve my first time?

No. A saved first finish remains unchanged; replay is practice and reopens fresh.
