How to play
- Goal
- Deliver the molten metal to the mould at its marked heat after passing every required forge station.
- How it ends
- A correct casting completes the commission; a spill, a loop, cold metal or the wrong finishing heat stops the pour, and you can adjust and retry.
- Record
- Your first-solve time is kept for each commission, with its holder name.
- Tap a channel to turn its outgoing arrow clockwise. The stream follows that arrow on arrival and runs straight between channels. The crucible spout marks its starting direction. Set the channels, then Pour.
- Every entered cell loses one heat. At zero the metal freezes before any machine acts. A furnace adds four, capped at twelve; a water quench removes three. Machines act again on surviving return visits.
- Visit the numbered hammers in order and reach the mould at its exact marked heat. Stone, the edge, a loop, cold metal or a wrong casting stops the pour. Edit returns to planning without losing the setup.
- Matching letter badges link channels. Turning one rotates all channels with that letter. Use Previous, Turn and Next on compact screens, or tap channels directly. Undo reverses a setup turn; Reset restores the starting setup after confirmation.

Every commission has one exhaustively certified winning setup. The later 24 require heat and hammer order to distinguish alternative routes; they share a lattice structure with different recipes. Your first-solve clock begins on opening, keeps running through menus and failed pours, and seals at a successful Pour. Animation adds no time. Restored unfinished commissions and unavailable coordination stay local; replays preserve the original first time. Effects, Music and Reduced motion are separate settings. No ads or analytics inside the game.

About Ember Foundry
A miniature iron foundry comes to life with painted furnaces, hammer presses, water quenches and casting moulds. Set brass channels, pour molten metal and watch the glowing stream work its way through the workshop.
Every entered cell costs heat. Furnaces restore it, water quenches remove it, and numbered hammer stations must be visited in order. The mould accepts only its exact marked heat.
Forty-eight open commissions introduce the machines before combining heat, processing order and linked channels. Failed pours preserve the setup for another experiment.
