How to play

Goal
Draw one closed loop whose nearest straight sections match every edge clue.
How it ends
You win when every clue agrees and the route is one closed loop; cells may remain unused and there is no loss.
Record
Your first unassisted solve of each chart earns one fastest-time record; replays are Practice.
Worked visual example for Round Trip
Worked example. See the rule happen, then follow the numbered rules below.
  1. Draw one closed route. Used cells have two links, or four at a crossing; other cells may stay empty. No branches or loose ends remain at the finish.
  2. Left and right clues count cells in the nearest horizontal section; top and bottom clues count cells in the nearest vertical section. Include both endpoints. Skip nearer perpendicular passages. A gap between links ends the section, even if the next cell is used.
  3. At a crossing, top continues to bottom and left continues to right. The lanes never join or turn into one another; both belong to the same eventual route.
  4. Tap two neighbouring cells to toggle their link, or drag through neighbours and release to add a stroke. Clear removes links at the chosen cell. Undo and Redo correct edits. Restart preserves the first clock, which keeps running through menus and atlas returns.

Tips for Round Trip

  • Start with long sections A clue equal to the whole row or column requires every parallel link across that line.
  • Count sections, not occupied cells Skip perpendicular passages. Count only the first consecutive parallel section, endpoints included.
  • Keep crossing lanes separate At four links, follow opposite sides. A crossing is never a junction.
  • Follow the whole route All used passages must form one closed route. Separate closed loops do not finish the chart.

Questions about this game

Must I use every cell?

No. Empty cells are allowed and need no extra mark.

Do numbers show distance from the edge?

No. They count cells in the nearest parallel straight section, including both endpoints.

Can I count a perpendicular passage?

No. A horizontal clue skips vertical passages; a vertical clue skips horizontal passages.

Can the route cross itself?

Yes. Both lanes continue straight through opposite sides and belong to the same closed route.

Can Replay replace my first time?

No. Replay is Practice and retains your first result.

These charts and examples are original. Reload keeps links and Undo; reloaded first solves stay local. Shelf labels describe dimensions, not difficulty.

About Round Trip

Join neighbouring cell centres into one returning route. Outside numbers count the nearest horizontal section from left or right, or the nearest vertical section from top or bottom, including both endpoints. Perpendicular passages do not count.

All 96 original charts are open: eight 4×4, sixteen 5×4, twenty-four 5×5 and forty-eight 6×5. Every complete edge ending is independently verified, with no repeated ending shape under rotation or reflection.
