How to play
- Goal
- Divide the whole board into straight one-cell-wide strips of length 1–4, matching any clue inside a strip, keeping equal-length strips from sharing an edge, and avoiding four strip corners at one point.
- How it ends
- The chart is won when every cell belongs to a valid strip, no strip contains more than one clue, adjacent strips have different lengths, and no four-way seam remains; Undo repairs placements.
- Record
- Your first unassisted solve of each chart is kept in this browser; verified solves under twenty-four hours compete for fastest-time records. Replays are practice.
- Cover every cell with a straight strip one cell wide and one to four cells long.
- A strip may contain no clue, or one clue matching its length. Two clues cannot share a strip.
- Different strips of equal length cannot share an edge. They may meet diagonally.
- Four different strips cannot meet at a single grid corner.
- Select the two ends, or drag between them. Select a cell twice for a singleton. Erase removes an entire strip. Undo repairs placements; Restart requires confirmation and keeps the first clock running.
