About Potion Panic

Run a lantern-lit apothecary in Orenvalt. Drop glowing herbs and crystals into a hammered copper cauldron, turn its essences with heat, and distil a remedy for the next customer.

Each order is a little crafting puzzle. Your supplies must cover several customers, and the obvious recipe can leave too little for the others. Explore 60 timed shifts, or experiment without a clock to fill a fieldbook of 24 magical remedies.

How to play

Goal
Fulfil every potion order before the shop bell rings.
How it ends
A shift is won when every order is served, and lost when its time runs out.
Record
Each shift keeps its highest score, verified from the brewing actions.
  1. Choose a shift and press Open shop to start its clock. Read each order’s Bloom, Ember and Moon numbers; every ingredient lists exactly what it adds.
  2. Add ingredients until the cauldron matches all 3 target numbers. Heat rotates the entire brew: Bloom becomes Ember, Ember becomes Moon, and Moon becomes Bloom. Distil removes 1 of each essence above zero.
  3. You may add ingredients between processing actions. Each brew holds up to 4 doses and 2 processes. An order marked Finish with Heat or Distil requires that as its last action.
  4. Serve a matching order, or press Bottle potion for the first match. Ingredients are shared across all orders. Undo and Empty refund an unserved brew; served bottles cannot be taken back.
  5. Serve every customer before the bell to win. Score is 1,000 per completed order plus 10 per whole second left. Pausing or changing tabs takes a shift out of the records.
  6. Discovery bench has no clock and endless supplies. In the fieldbook, choose Try this remedy to keep its target beside the cauldron. Successful experiments record the remedy and your method.

Tips

  • Think across orders A remedy can have several recipes. Preserve the ingredients that another customer needs.
  • Transform at the right moment Heat rotates everything already in the vessel. Adding an ingredient before or after it can give a different result.
