How to play
- Goal
- Identify and locate capital cities, and compare their dated populations.
- How it ends
- Each competition ends after its question limit, three sorting mistakes, or its running time budget.
- Record
- Records keep the best score or smallest error, with answering time and the player’s name.
- Country Sprint: choose one of eight countries. The 90-second clock runs continuously; one wrong answer ends the run. Capital Search: filter capital names by any substring, ignoring case and accents, then choose an answer. Enter submits a unique result.
- Blind Map: pan and zoom, place a pin and confirm. Complete ten cities; the smallest total great-circle distance from the fixed city reference points wins. Blue is your guess and the gold diamond is the answer.
- Population Line: insert each new city into its correct population gap, largest at the top. The third mistake ends the run. Population Reserve: estimate the shown urban population; relative percentage error is deducted from 300%. It ends when the reserve is empty or all eligible capitals are estimated.

Preview. Population figures are 2025 UN DEGURBA urban centres, not municipal or metropolitan census counts. Uninterrupted attempts can enter worldwide rankings; opening help/settings, hiding the tab or reloading unfinished progress makes it personal practice. Geographic questions use fixed city reference points. No ads, SDKs or analytics in the game.
About City Sprint
A playable preview of five capital-city competitions: identify countries, search capital names, pin cities on a blind map, sort dated populations and estimate them against a reserve. Worldwide results lead each competition card.
This preview contains 31 capitals and explicitly named government seats from 27 countries. The full reviewed library and municipal coats-of-arms competition are in preparation. Population questions show 2025 and the exact UN urban-area definition.
