How to play
- Goal
- Recognise cultural landmarks and natural wonders from real photographs.
- How it ends
- Finish ten questions, run out of time, make one sprint mistake or three sorting mistakes.
- Record
- Best score, least map error or fastest matching finish, with time and the player’s name.
- Recognition Sprint: choose the pictured place from eight names. Country Sprint: choose its country from eight options. Both have 90 continuously running seconds; one wrong answer ends the run.
- Name Search: identify ten photographs. Type any part of a name, ignoring case and accents, then choose it. Enter submits a unique match. Correct answers rank first, followed by faster time.
- Blind Map: the photo and place name are shown. Pan and zoom, place a pin, then confirm. Complete ten compact landmarks; the smallest total distance from their sourced reference points wins.
- Heritage Line: insert each photographed place according to its property’s first UNESCO inscription year, earliest on top. Equal years fit in any tied gap. Three mistakes end the run. These are not construction years.
- Matching Table: choose a photograph and then its place name. Complete all ten pairs. Each wrong pair adds three seconds to your finish time; the fastest adjusted finish wins.

Every photograph has its own source, creator, chosen licence and change notice. After answering, open Photo credits and sources; finished rounds also list their photographs. Heritage dates refer to first UNESCO property inscription. Maps use independently qualified compact reference points, not camera GPS or large-site centroids. Help, settings, leaving the tab, restoring an unfinished round or a mid-run photo-loading interruption makes that attempt practice. No ads, SDKs or analytics in the game.
About World Wonders
Recognise actual cultural landmarks and natural wonders from individually reviewed photographs. Six competitions test names, countries, map placement, heritage inscription years and fast matching. Worldwide score, time and player name lead each competition card.
This development preview contains 18 reviewed places and 10 qualified compact map targets. The full library is being curated toward 800–1,000 distinct places, with buildings forming the majority. Its small library is a preview milestone, not the finished game.
