How to play
- Goal
- Fill every row and column with 1 through the grid size exactly once while satisfying every inequality and exact difference between neighbouring cells.
- How it ends
- A chart is solved when all cells are filled and every row, column, comparison and difference rule holds; there is no loss state.
- Record
- The fastest first solve of each chart is kept as a public record, with its holder's name.
- Fill each row and column with 1 through the grid size, using each digit once per line. A copper <, >, ∧ or ∨ points toward the smaller of two neighbouring digits. A number in an opal seal between neighbours is their exact difference, no matter which number is larger. An unmarked edge adds no clue.
- The worked picture shows a crop of a separate legal 4×4 chart. An opal 1 beside the lower 3 allows 2 or 4 in the empty upper cell; the copper > rules out 4, so enter 2. Tap a square and choose a digit below, or type 1–5 on a focused square; repeating the digit clears it. Notes pencil in candidates.
- A complete chart that satisfies every row, column, comparison and difference automatically seals. Red highlights only visible-rule conflicts. Undo and Restart are available, and there is no loss. The first-solve clock begins on opening and never pauses; Restart does not reset it. A replay is untimed practice. Returning to the atlas in the same page preserves the first clock and record chance; reloading an unfinished chart restores its entries locally but makes that first finish local only.

All 160 original no-given charts have stable IDs, one independently verified answer and an independent no-guess deduction trace. Removing either clue family makes every chart ambiguous. Private witnesses and solvers do not ship. Saves use morass.mainarizumu.v1; sound follows the shared arcade setting. No ads or analytics run inside the game.

About Mainarizumu
At a moonlit apothecary bench, fill each number well of a measuring folio. Copper signs compare neighbouring digits; an opal seal states their exact difference. No digit is printed into the starting grid.
All 160 original charts have one independently verified answer and a no-guess local deduction path. Every chart needs both clue families, and all four shelves are open from the start.
Your first finish time stays in this browser. An uninterrupted first solve can claim the named public best shown on each chart card.
