How to play
- Goal
- Fill each row and column with the digits from 1 to the grid size exactly once, and satisfy every greater-than or less-than clue between neighbouring squares.
- How it ends
- The chart is solved when every square is filled and all row, column and comparison rules hold; there is no loss state.
- Record
- The fastest first solve of each chart is kept as a public record, with its holder's name.
- Fill each row and column with the digits from 1 to the grid size, using each digit once per line. Each printed <, >, ∧ or ∨ compares its two neighbouring squares: the narrow point faces the smaller digit. Empty gaps between squares impose no comparison.
- The worked picture shows the real Chart 081. Its bottom row has 1 < blank < 3, so only 2 belongs in the middle. Printed digits cannot be changed. Select a square and tap a digit below, or type 1–5 on a focused square; repeating a digit clears it. Notes pencil in candidates without filling the square.
- Every full chart that obeys its row, column and comparison rules completes automatically. A wrong entry can be erased or undone; there is no loss. Restart clears entries without resetting the first clock. Replays are untimed practice. Returning to the atlas in the same page keeps the first clock and public record chance; reloading an unfinished chart keeps its entries but makes its first finish local only.
