Morrowvane is a single-player action RPG seen from a fixed isometric camera: one province, four regions walked in order, and a story with an ending that the game itself puts at about two hours. You choose one of eight classes, build it from that class's sixteen spells, their runes and a list of passives, and nothing in the build is rolled. The dice are in the loot.

How to play
- One button talks and fights. The south face button (E on the keyboard) uses whatever is in reach: a board, a letter, a counter. With nothing to use, it swings your basic attack.
- Four spell slots sit on the other face buttons and the right shoulder and trigger (1–4). Each class starts with one spell per slot and learns three more for every slot by level 24; you swap and rune them in the spellbook, but only out of a fight.
- Blink (East face button, Space) is a short dodge with a moment of invulnerability; the flask (left trigger, Q) heals and refills on its own over time.
- Dying costs nothing you carry. You return to the last checkpoint at full life; what you killed stays dead and the rest of the fight goes home.
- Walk forward. Each region has three checkpoints, the first of them its hub with a board of bounties and three counters. Its last checkpoint opens the way into the next region once the region's boss has fallen; there is no way back.
