No Draught Required

Kill an elite or boss without drinking during its fight. Damage is allowed. Drinking before combat begins is allowed; drinking during the encounter invalidates that attempt.

The Bell-Ringer's Understudy

1. Follow the Hollow Fields main route through the Ploughman and Old Sexton. This recording reaches the Understudy at level 10. Keep your flask available during those earlier fights: they are preparation, not the attempt.
2. Find the Bell-Ringer's Understudy, listed on Tallow's Cross board. Finish the previous combat completely, clear nearby enemies, and enter with enough life to finish without a draught. If a surviving enemy keeps combat active after the Sexton, settle or leave that encounter before starting this attempt. The recorded encounter begins immediately after the Old Sexton, at approximately 6:51.
3. Keep moving between attacks. As a Huntsman, fire while you have space, then leave the enemy's approach or windup before shooting again. The attempt may take time: the recorded fight lasts about two minutes and finishes with 194 of 230 life.
4. Do not drink until the elite dies. Watch for No Draught Required at approximately 8:52, then check its earned entry in Achievements. If your life becomes unsafe, drink and attempt another elite; preserving the character takes priority.

What invalidates the attempt

• Drinking during a continuous fight. If other enemies keep combat active, finishing one and starting another does not necessarily begin a fresh attempt. Wait until combat ends before beginning your next target.
• Confusing this with No Deduction. You may take hits here. No Deduction instead checks damage from the elite itself and permits drinking.
• Taking the wrong lesson from the Old Sexton. This recording uses two draughts against him. The qualifying fight is the Understudy afterwards.
