Widow’s Geese, Accounted For
Find and settle the whole flock: seven geese, one collective writ.
Close the entire seven-goose writ. This is one collective bounty: the final surviving bird is the one that settles it.
From Tallow’s Cross to the flock
Read the Widow’s Geese writ at Tallow’s Cross. Walk east out of the hub, then turn north toward the early fields beside the Shepherd’s Cairn Field. Look for the flock’s nameplates; the birds move, so their exact positions vary. There are seven in the encounter, despite the achievement’s ledger line saying six.
As a Huntsman, approach until a goose notices you, shoot while you have space, and move away from its approach before firing again. Keep a clear route behind you. The successful run closes the flock at level 2, before reaching the chapel; no late-game equipment is required.
Continue until every goose belonging to the writ is dead. One or several kills do not close a collective bounty; find the remaining bird if the writ remains open.
