Speaker of the Board
Rise to Board Speaker.

Rule: hold the Board Speaker seat. You must already sit as Board Senior, and the Speaker contest needs commoner standing of 85 and 13,000 Bits in hand. Standing is the hard part; anything that costs it on the way up delays the seat.

Route

1. Start a Ward of the Concord (this also earns From the Almshouse). Set Settings → Auto-pause to Monthly and let Auto (Space) run the days: it stops for every Hush offer, contest, crisis and monthly check-in, which is when you act.
2. Buy your first shop in Confluence Spit (B) as soon as the purse covers it, retool it to the good the district wants most (T), and press , until the plan reads 50% of market. Cheap staples keep stock moving, and fair prices pull your commoner standing up. Once the purse passes 150 Bits, hire a hand (H) and promote them to manager (A). At each monthly check-in set every shop's daily make to about two more than it sold the day before (Tab to the shop, ↑↓), so nothing rots on the shelf.
3. Build standing: join the guild (Q) once you can spare 400 Bits over the next shop's price, and host a feast (Shift+K) whenever one is ready and the purse still covers the next shop afterwards. Answer a crisis appeal with relief (D) when you hold three times the alms, and sponsor the Wall (G) when it comes up and you hold over 600 Bits.
4. Fund it with the Hush Trade: take a run (Y) whenever Watch suspicion is under 20, and let the offer lapse otherwise. Grow to four shops, each bought only when the purse covers a third more than its price.
5. Stand for each Board seat (O) as soon as the odds read 55% or better: Ward Alderman, Board Senior, then Board Speaker.

This run reached Board Speaker on day 669 (Year 2, Waning 46), aged 19, with standing 89 and 13,520 Bits. The same route reached the seat in 11 of 12 worlds, by day 939 in the middle one. Your world will not match this one day for day: prices, figures' moods and catastrophes come from the world you are playing. The decisions are the same.

Three minutes. It plays at 1.5× from the first day to the final achievements screen, as the label in the corner says; the menus run at normal speed.
