Reserved Seat

For Battle-wizard in The imp's loop (The Cinder hollows, room 61). This guide earns Reserved Seat. The Steam and mobile builds track achievements; the web build does not.

Not filmed yet. This route was checked by replaying it through the game’s own achievement judge, which awarded the achievement, but no video of it exists. The turn list below is read from that replay.

The rule

A Meteor call cast at an unoccupied tile lands and kills an original patrolling creature that entered that tile by its own move.

Before you begin

The verified run used the Battle-wizard kit after 60 draft picks, one for each earlier room, in the order below. Every pick is one the game offered at that point. A different draft gives a different kit, and the script may then need changes.

2. Turn 2: Step down.
3. Turn 3: Cast Meteor call.
4. Turn 4: Wait. Meteor call hits the Fire imp for 21 and it dies.
5. Turn 5: Wait.
6. Turn 6: Step down.

9. Turn 9: Cast Firebolt. Firebolt hits the Barrow skeleton for 30 and it dies.

What to watch

• Meteor call is cast on turn 3 at a tile nobody stands on; nothing is damaged that turn. On turn 4 the meteor lands and kills the Fire imp that walked into the tile.
• The hero waits through turns 4 and 5 rather than casting, and finishes the room with Firebolt on the Barrow skeleton on turn 9.

If it does not unlock

The achievement is checked on a replay of a won run. Win the room with a script that follows the rule above; a run that does not meet every clause wins the room and earns nothing.
