Gather the proof

1. Take the Gilt Cast Ring in The Tarnished Coin.
   Lead Ring Feels Wrong: “The ring from the plate-chest sits heavier in the look than the hand, its gilt too even, a faint seam under the third rune — something reads wrong.”
2. Take the Wine Account Leaf in The Tarnished Coin.
   Finding Brell Shortfall: “The wine-account has run short two seasons, the difference squared in under-pantler Ewin Brell's own reckoning — and a Skarkeld pledge-broker's sum answers the shortfall to the copper.”
3. Talk to Osta Andren in The Tarnished Coin and choose “Show Andren the gilt ring”.
   Finding Ring Is Cast: “The ring left in the plate-chest is gilt over bronze, struck with a Skarkeld founder's shop-mark — commissioned work, a copy cast ahead to leave behind, no opportunist's snatch.”

• Rusk Debt makes a wrong sheet presentable (Culprit: Tam Rusk, Motive: Pay Dice Debt, Method: Snatched By Night). “Tam Rusk the groom owes the survey's soldiers at dice, more than a groom's wage answers; the night-porter saw him by the hall stair well after dark.”
