The seven places of Dreskmark, their doors, and who you find in each. Scene pictures are screenshots from the game.
Dreskmark River DocksWhere you arrive: the river wharf where Concord barges tie up and the unloading crews call their tallies.
You came up the river on the dawn boat, Reeve Storn's summons still folded in your sleeve: the grain store at the river-mill burned, and it was set, not chanced — he wants the hand behind it. The wharf smells of tar, wet rope, and river-water gone stale in the low-tide reeds; Concord barges creak at their tie-lines while the unloading crews call tallies across the boards, and gulls work the spillage between the crates.

Dreskmark Market SquareThe market square at the heart of Dreskmark, with doors to the docks, the river-mill, the Tarnished Coin and the physic-stall. Reeve Storn keeps his post here.
The market square is close and crowded — folk stand thick in the lanes, and you must step around them to pass. Reeve Halvik Storn keeps his post on the square's north side, hard beside the landward door down to the docks; make for that door and he is the man standing next to it.

Dreskmark River-MillThe river-mill whose grain store burned: the fire the reeve summoned you to answer.
The mill runs on two floors — the grinding floor below and the upper works above, the two linked only by the left passage along the sluice wall.

The Tarnished CoinThe Tarnished Coin, the town's inn and its readiest ear.
The Tarnished Coin keeps its own weather — low beams, a banked hearth, the sour-warm smell of old ale worked into the boards. The talk drops a notch as you cross the floor, then closes up again behind you.

Dreskmark Bond-HouseThe Concord customs-and-bond warehouse on the lower wharf, reached from the docks, where sealed lots are weighed, bonded and locked overnight.
The room keeps a ledgered quiet — lamplight on iron-banded chests, the dry smell of wax and old paper, the weigh-scale resting under its brass. Here the clerks measure their words as carefully as the goods that pass across the counter.

Dreskmark Physic-StallBrisa Wend's physic-stall off the market square, where the coroner and the assay-master are also at work.
The stall is close and dim, the air heavy with the bittersweet weight of a hundred drying simples. Stoppered bottles line the shelves in careful rows, and every draught stands set down against its buyer in a book the apothecary keeps close.
