Stand Your Ground

The Proving Warden without blink or immunity: the roll against the Debris Wall.

Stand Your Ground
Defeat the Proving Warden without anyone using blink or immunity.

An achievement of the Proving Warden. In a group, nobody in the party may blink or use immunity, from the pull to his fall. The roll and the dash are allowed.

Stand Your Ground: the Proving Warden without blink or immunity

The hero in the video was drawn at random, class and body, to show that any hero can earn it; the test player then fought ten seeded fights with that hero and the video is one of the wins that earned it.

The video is a male Lightbringer: of ten fights, three were won and all three earned it. This one won in 3:19 and took 100 damage, from Hammer Strikes and fire pools. The cards at the end show Stand Your Ground, Quick Proving (he fell 3:16 after the pull) and the Lightbringer Ladder.

How to earn it

  1. Walk out of each Hammer Strike circle when you can, so the roll (5 s cooldown) is ready for what walking cannot answer.
  2. The Debris Wall from 75% is the test: it cannot be outrun, and without blink or immunity the only answer is to roll through the ring as it reaches you. Keep the roll ready when a wall is due, about every 20 s.
  3. From 50%, walk out of the fire pools at once; a roll does not stop fire.
  4. From 25%, side-step the Charge and stay off its fire trail.

No blink: the roll carries him through the Debris Wall.

The proof: the card after the win.

A blink or immunity pressed by anyone, even once and even by accident, loses it for that fight. Losing the roll to a Hammer Strike just before a wall is what costs most attempts.
