Swift Passage
Win a run, at most 16800 ticks endured.
The limit is tick 16,800, 46:40 on the clock (six ticks to the second). It counts game ticks, not your time: no tick passes while the clock is held (Space), and speed ×8 only makes the ticks come faster. A later win still earns The Wide-Crossing Way, but not this.
Where the time goes
- Before the Causeway can be placed you need a Fen Mine, 1,200 stone and 60 tools harvested, and 25 villagers. In the seed-7 run the 25th villager came at 15:10, and the foundation went down at 15:20 (tick 5,520).
- Then the Causeway itself: 400 wood, 800 stone, 120 iron, 60 tools and 36,000 work. On seed 7 it took from 15:20 to 32:51, 6,311 ticks, a little more than the time it took to open it.

The run, in order
The autopilot, playing from the first tick, won every seed from 1 to 80, and 69 of those wins came by tick 16,800. Half of them came by tick 13,834 (38:25) and the fastest on seed 49 at 11,591 (32:11). These eleven seeds won too late:
11 (18,052), 20 (31,527), 26 (17,456), 28 (56,187), 34 (17,826), 35 (21,997), 42 (18,274), 63 (16,860), 72 (68,292), 75 (45,640), 78 (17,920).
The recorded run
This is the run from The Wide-Crossing Way: seed 7, a fresh profile, played by the game's autopilot at the game's ×8 speed. It earned Swift Passage on its winning tick.

What goes wrong
- A slow seed. On the eleven seeds above the autopilot itself finishes after the limit; pick another.
- The Holdfast falling or the last villager dying loses the run outright, whatever the clock says.
